A Letter From Ketia

Life doesn’t always go as planned. Whether you’re facing a major life transition, carrying the weight of trauma, or simply trying to make sense of the chaos around you—I'm here to help. I work with adults navigating challenges related to trauma, housing instability, incarceration, domestic violence, and severe mental health conditions. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to move forward.

With a background in rehabilitation counseling, I’ve worked in a variety of settings—from crisis response teams to correctional facilities to women’s shelters—supporting individuals through some of life’s most overwhelming moments. I specialize in trauma recovery, emotional regulation, community reintegration, and helping clients rebuild after periods of instability or disconnection.

I incorporate a blend of person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and guided imagery techniques, with a strong emphasis on cultural humility. I am fluent in Creole and provide a welcoming environment for multicultural and multilingual clients.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, PTSD, reentry after incarceration, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you—I’ll meet you where you are, without judgment. Together, we’ll focus on building coping tools, reconnecting with your strengths, and creating a path toward healing.
